Ingredients

  • 24 oz. Tasteful Selections® potatoes
  • 4 tbsp. unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • Juice from one lemon
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Shredded Parmesan cheese, if desired
  • 1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. fresh chives, chopped

Instructions

  • Place potatoes in a pot of salted water & bring to a boil for 10 minutes or until fork tender. Drain potatoes & allow them to steam dry while butter sauce cooking.
  • Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. As it begins to foam, continue stirring the butter turns to a light brown color. Once butter turns a deep brown color, it will release a nutty aroma. This is when your butter is properly browned. You should see tiny dark bits in the bottom of the skillet.
  • Once the butter is browned, add garlic and fry for 1 minute, then stir in juiced lemon. Add boiled potatoes and give them a good stir to coat them well in the brown butter sauce.
  • Garnish with parmesan cheese & fresh herbs.
